Requirements for Request Submission
- Name of the individual requesting the records.
- A clearly identified list of LMVC records requested.
- Delivery option selected as indicated on the request form.
Processing and Response
Requests are processed during regular business hours in accordance with the Louisiana Public Records Law (LA-R.S. 44:1 et seq.).
- If records are exempt from disclosure, written notice with reasons for denial will be sent via email or mail.
- If records are available, a Notice of Costs for Copies of Public Records will be sent via email, mail, or fax.
- Payment must be received within 10 business days of the notice being issued. If not, a new request must be submitted.
